Love Is Real

If we meet again
I’d tell you how I feel
I’d tell you from the start
I’d tell you love is real

How everything we say
And everything we do
Has been preordained
To bring true love to you

Nothing else is pure
Nothing esle is right
You will know for sure
Once you’ve seen the light

If we meet again
I’d tell you how I feel
I’d tell you love is real

(E.S.T. - Seven Days Of Falling - Lyrics by Josh Haden)

joy and excitement, pain and mourning

When I first met Magnus he was three years old and I was four. At that time we were just playing with cars and having great snowball fights. A few years later Magnus got his first drum set, which was made of old paint tints and I played on a big black piano belonging to my mother. Monotonous melodies and simple chords, but at least we succeeded in creating together our first composition.
Now, when I think about this time past, I can still feel the joy an excitement that every rehearsal session meant to us. It was like experiencing a totally new world, one in which we were free to let our fantasies and dreams take shape. We becames stars, made tours and records, wrote autographs and gave interviews. But what was most important was the music. We created and experienced our own music.
Now, twenty years later, I’m happy that we made it. And I’m even more happy that Magnus is still behind the drums. I must confess that he has developed since the paint tin period. The way he listens, his power and energy, make him unique among drummers.
Besides Magnus is Dan, a handsome, steady bass player, who grew up in Östersund. He has a great beat and plays beautiful walking lines and mixes a lot of musical knowledge with a touch af madness, which carries his music out into another dimension.
I’m very happy to be working with these two fine musicians and great friends. Maybe we won’t become stars and usually we don’t get to write autographs. But still, it’s there, the joy and excitement. And this group enables me to let my musical dreams come true.
